Calcium alginate wound dressings are used on heavily exuding wounds.
Our products include alginate dressing with a fast absoption kinetics while enhancing a moist environment. The gelling process result from an ionic exchange between sodium ions contained in wound exudate and calcium ions in the alginate.The vertical absorption process avoids maceration and provides a gentle wound healing action.
