Change in B. Braun Management Board
As of April 1, 2016 Anna Maria Braun, President of the Asia/Pacific region, joins the management board.
Melsungen (Germany). In yesterday’s meeting the Supervisory Board of B. Braun Melsungen AG has appointed Anna Maria Braun, President of the Asia/Pacific region, as deputy member of the Management Board of the medtech and pharma company as of April 1, 2016. Prof. Dr. Heinz-Walter Große, Chairman of the Board, pointed out: "We are pleased that this for B. Braun important region will be represented in the Management Board.”
Anna Maria Braun, 36, has been directing the Malaysian subsidiary of B. Braun Melsungen AG, B. Braun Medical Industries Sdn. Bhd since 2013, and is as President Asia Pacific responsible for the business of the pharma and medtech company in the entire Asia-Pacific region. Previously, she had been conducting the Asian product business of the dialysis division B. Braun Avitum for two years. Anna Maria Braun is attorney at law with Bar Admission in Germany and in New York State, USA. After graduating from high school at the United World College Of The Atlantic (UWC) in the UK and a one-year intensive language course in Chinese at the Beijing Language And Culture University, Beijing, People's Republic of China, she studied law at the University of Freiburg, Germany. After the first state examination in January 2004, Anna Maria Braun passed through her legal clerkship and second state examination at the Higher Regional Court in Duesseldorf, Germany. She continued her studies at the Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, DC, USA, where she completed her training in 2007 with a Master of Laws in International Trade Legal Studies. Subsequently, she worked as Corporate Lawyer for the law firm CMS HASCHE SIGLE, Duesseldorf. Anna Maria Braun is married and has two children.
